Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of the Letter Decoder app (“the app”) provided by Mazari Holdings LLC (“Mazari Holdings,” “we,” “us”). By using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. What the app does

Letter Decoder explains what certain types of official letters say, in plain English or Spanish, based on photos of pages you provide. It identifies information such as dates, amounts, and steps described in those pages.

The app explains documents. It does not:

• verify that a document, its sender, or the information in it is genuine, accurate, or current;
• provide legal, tax, immigration, financial, or other professional advice, or create a lawyer–client or other professional relationship; or
• act on your behalf or contact anyone for you.

Results are general information. Don't use the app as your only basis for an important decision. Check the original document and, for legal, tax, immigration, financial, or other consequential matters, consult a qualified professional.

2. Limits of results

• Only the pages you supply. A result is based only on the pages you photograph, up to eight per letter. Information on pages you don't scan isn't included.
• Missing pages may go undetected. The app may not be able to tell that a page is missing, out of order, or from a different document.
• Errors and omissions. The app uses automated processing, including AI, and can misread text, leave out information, or describe something incorrectly. Check every date, amount, and instruction against the original.
• Conflicting information. If a document contains conflicting dates or details, the app may point out the conflict instead of choosing one. It can't tell you which is correct. Contact the sender using contact details you verify independently.
• Contact details. Phone numbers, addresses, and websites in a result come from the document. The app doesn't confirm that they're legitimate.
• Supported documents. The app supports only certain types of documents and may decline others. The supported types can change.

3. Your responsibilities

You agree to:

• scan only documents you have the right to share with us for processing;
• keep the original document and treat it, not the result, as the authoritative source;
• not use the app for any unlawful purpose, or to process someone else's documents without their permission;
• not interfere with, overload, or try to reverse engineer the app or our servers; and
• not use the app to create misleading or fraudulent documents.

4. Accounts

You can scan and preview without signing in. To buy credits or unlock a full result, you must sign in with Apple. You're responsible for activity under your account. You can delete your account in the app under Settings → Account → Delete account. The Privacy Policy explains what is deleted and what is kept.

5. Credits and purchases

• Credits. A credit unlocks the full result for one letter. Credits are sold in packs as consumable in-app purchases through Apple. There's no subscription.
• When a credit is used. A credit is used only when you choose to unlock a result and the unlock succeeds. Taking photos, retaking pages, previews, and scans the app can't read or explain don't use a credit.
• Unlocked results. An unlocked result stays available in Your letters while your account exists.
• Payments and refunds. Apple processes payments and handles refund requests under its own policies. You can request a refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. If Apple refunds a purchase whose credits were already used, your credit balance may become negative until you buy more credits.
• Restore purchases. Restore purchases rechecks your App Store purchases for the account you're signed in to and refreshes your balance. It can't bring back credits that were already used, and it doesn't move credits between different Letter Decoder accounts.
• Using credits. Credits can be used only to unlock results in Letter Decoder. They can't be exchanged for cash or transferred to another account, and unused credits are lost if you delete your account.
• Prices. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may change. A price change doesn't affect credits you've already bought.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Apple's policies or under consumer-protection laws that can't be waived.

6. Changes to the app

We may change, add, or remove features or supported document types.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle the information you provide, including your page photos.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
